- Mock Trial: Human Factors of Adaptive Cruise Control: This mock trial was presented during the IEA 2000/HFES 2000 Congress in July in San Diego, California. This 2-DVD set, aimed at educating audiences concerning forensics, automobile safety, and human factors design issues, presents a fictitious case to demonstrate the human factors issues in an advanced automobile technology: adaptive cruise control (ACC). In this case, a collision occurred involving an ACC system. Design issues and user behavior are discussed. This mock trial will be useful in courses on law, human factors, safety, and industrial engineering/psychology.
- Mock Trial: How Human Factors Experts Contribute to Civil Litigation: The FPG also conducted two mock trial sessions at the 1997 HFES Annual Meeting.
